The video will show you whats going on, but it seems like during the aircraft initialization that the camera doesnt get through its startup.

Anyone else with this problem?

It started happening after the update. Haven't gotten one flight in with the new update because of this. Bought it in the beginning of March.

Thats what I ended up doing. Sucks because I would've overnighted it if it was just the camera. It'll be there by Tuesday with the shipping label they provided. I might buy a p4 for my shoot next friday and return it

Question Tim when purchasing a new inspire pro x5 lets say next week. Is all the firmware already downloaded or that's never the case?

Thats one angry gimbal. Not good mate.  Repair looks like the only option.  In the UK you'd get a replacement straight away if you only bought it in march.

Its been repaired and is making its way back to me. But I haven't heard what the problem was? I need an explanation. I'm sure others are wondering what could cause something like that to happen?

Reply from DJI about the camera malfunction

"This was a warranty repair that surrounded the X 5 camera on this unit. The aircraft itself is fine. The camera, however, was replaced. Once replaced, there is a quality control aspect of the repair to make sure the unit is working as it should. In reviewing the repair ticket, the part did pass the quality control test before sending out. "

I then asked if I was getting a refurbished camera and they said it was a new unit. (the camera)
