Anyone know when Iphone 7 drops in September if the device will be compatible with Phantom 3 Pro? If so, how long will it take to become compatible?  Looking to get a new phone but figured since 7 is dropping in September I may wait.

You understand why he might say that, right?

There is really no way to know until the phone and OS comes out.....really most importantly the OS.  
Unless DJI has some inside track on the requirements (and I don't think they do)  there will be no way to know until the iPhone release.

If the salesman told you to wait on the 7, he's not much of a salesman.  Unless there's some other reason, (upgrade eligibility timing, etc.), that was horrible advice.

When Apple releases a new phone, they also make the newest incarnation of the iOS available to the OLD phones (that have enough power to handle the new system).  So if the new iPhone is not compatible with DJI GO, then ANY updated phone would be incompatible until DJI updated the GO app.

I'd imagine the phone would be compatible on release.
