First off let me say I have owned almost 30 DJI drones. We have Inspires, and all variations of Phantoms. This is the first time I have pulled one out of the box and had a major problem.
Got it registered and while attempting to get it going, it was just a continuous beep and I was getting ESC error. Looking at the P4 from the front, the left side front and rear lights would not turn on and the beeps were coming from those two ESC's. Called the vendor and he overnighted me a replacement for delivery tomorrow and doing an RMA with him for the bricked one.
Has anyone had an ESC error right out of the box?

wiling to bet someone somewhere has.   sometimes things slip by quality control.    or it could have been a defect that passed before shipping.  looking on the brightside tho at least it didn't fail in the air and hurt/damage anything/anyone.   so bright side there!
