Hi,

I revieved my Phantom 3 today.

Just took it over a local feild to fly with loads of space and it had some trouble.

Firstly if i went higher than 40m (please note begininer mode was off) as the video would just go off and i would lose video connection.

Secondly when i tried to go around 60m away from it would also say max distance reached?

Lastly i'm having trouble with getting the footage, i have tried connecting to my device and it just keeps saying outputting videos 0%... for ages.

Please help as i really want to start flying it more.

I am using an IPhone 5s. Just seemed to lose video after 40m and wouldn't let me go far away.

Which P3 do you have?
Also what firmware version do you have on the aircraft and RC?

I have the phantom 3 standard. And I done the firmware update for the device today so the least one I'm guessing. Control I'm not sure. How can I find this out for you.

iPhone 5s also. Was a wide open area and everything.

Iphone in Airplane mode ?

There is a big software problem. I think you use 2.8.2 version, in version 2.8.1 you could go about 1000m without any video errors, but this new software you get errors all the time.. we hope that the Dji is fixing the problem.

How do I back date?

Max distance reached indicates that you have a max distance set in the app.
Turn that off or set it to a greater distance.

To get your videos, pull the sd card out, put it in an adapter and copy to your computer.

Nope turned it off somewhat through first flight.

Hello deepatmore, please make sure the RC and antenna are in correct position and make sure the environment is free of interference.You can check the image transmitting condition during your flight:

Thank you  but I done all of this. At antenna was fine. Aeroplane mode on. On a clear space.

Did you make a screenshot of the image transmitting channel condition at that time？Normally such a short distance is possibly related to the receiver's issue.If it activate RTH in different open area in a short distance，it would be better to contact our service center as below:

I didn't no I will get one tonight. Could it be a hardware issue as I only got it yesterday?

Already done this. Still didn't to high

Same for me: even with the beginner mode off, I was limited to about 40m.
I had to fly with P-mode to have a larger operating range.

Just a thought. It is a process of elimination. That is now eliminated.
