We hope everyone has a wonderful Memorial Day! While it may be gloomy in Los Angeles, here’s a reminder that even overcast beach days can be beautiful. We finally made the switch to Premier and decided to edit the first purely Phantom Aerial Productions project with our dual operated DJI Inspire1.

Nice video. I like the way you speed up and sometimes reverse footage.
The only thing I found annoying was the black screen (pause) between scenes. Not on all scenic changes, but on most.
Overall, a nice presentation.

Nicely done. Maybe a little too much "hyperlapse" every now and then but over all very nice video. Wish I lived in a place where I could even get footage like that.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. This was a new editing style we're trying. It's 50/50 split, some love the black, and some hate it. We'll use less of it in the future videos. It just seemed to work with the song this time around. We also switched over to a different editing program, so there was a bit of a learning curve as well. But all in all we had a great time filming, and an even better time editing. My wife is my camera operator (She's the woman with the dog in the video) We're lucky enough to live right here in Venice Beach, so we're able to take day trips to these beaches when we feel we want to get out of the city.

We are based out of the Santa Monica/Venice area. At the moment we are gearing up for Burning Man again. We have been approved as one of the 30 pilots allowed to fly this year. So VERY excited!

Thanks Ricky!! We are always trying to come up with dynamic camera and aircraft movements that work together. We have some plans to do another video like this, but with more forest in it. First have Burning Man in 3 days!! Cant WAIT to shoot out there!! (Yes, we already have been permitted to fly there this year)

It's a great video, thank you for sharing. All your movements were quite fluid. If you have not done so already, I would recommend putting this on SkyPixel as well.

You would need to log into your DJI Account, but you should see a blue upload button on the top right of the SkyPixel page. You can either upload the file or paste your current video link.

Thanks WYHSniper! We just finished a 2 day road trip down more of HWY 1, and did some filming with the i1. We have 1 more trip planned to capture a few more locations, then we are going to compile all of that and put it out! It's going to be something beautiful. I can't WAIT to complete it.
