I can use any input.

Thanks

Why buy a new one if you just sold the old one..........Go for the P4, it's like a P3P on steroids

P.S Just don't use DJI GO 2.8.2 with it at present, stick with 2.8.1

I sold my P3P for a higher price than a new one (that I can get) that's why..
What do you mean with Steroids..more power, faster, better cam..more safety?

I would read about all the problems with the P4 before making that decision.

45 mph in sports mode, marginally better camera, and the obstacle avoidance gismo thingy that I've not really tested out yet.

The all round build is just a bit better, or at least it looks it, and the GL300C controller has a metal device clamp support, much better than the plastic job on the P3 GL300B (or that was what I had).

Slightly improved flight time with higher capacity battery. Dual compass and IMU for redundancy (ie will work if one goes faulty), but also uses both for greater accuracy (I believe). VPS works to 10m although cannot be switched of like the P3A.

Do a product compare on their website.

I would read about all the problems with the P4 before making that decision.

Problems are horizon tilt (but not on all apparently, and 'may' be rectified using adjustment in App'), P4 drops altitude a bit (up to 10 feet, but never heard of any crashing yet because of this) if it comes to a sudden high speed stop, and avoid DJI GO 2.8.2 for the time being.

The P4 is a better machine imo. That said, the P3P is better value for money. If you have the chance try flying a P4 and see if you like it better or not.

Go for the P4. It is a fantastic machine all around, How did you get more than you paid for it? I have a P3P V2 with a ton of extras that I am going to sell. I flew it once. Backpack, Batteries, Props, Prop Guards, Charging Hub, etc.

I had a great offer for a new one (bought it abroad) and could sell it for less than new in the shop.
Thanks for the advice and good luck with you're sale.

That makes sense. My sale is of no rush. I have a ton of goodies to go along with it and it was only flown one. There are 6 batteries alone. I need to make room for other projects or I would keep it. Let us know what you end up with.

The p4 is only 10 kmh faster and can carry less if you wanna put any payload.

The obstacle isn't reliable and it stops the aircraft while on follow and people have crashed despite having it (the p4 avoidance is nowhere as advanced as intel avoidance used in yuneec TH)

The active track can also be achieved by litchi app on p3 or i1 as long as you have a display with good cpu.

The only real advantage is you get 3-4 minutes of extra battery compared to the p3.

I would reccomend you to upgrade to the inspire which sells for 1.9k right now, it can have the same battery life as p3 with tb48 or even go for an unused v1 for less from licensed stores.

But if portability is really important then stick with p4 or p3.
