Hi,
Was out by the mountain, rally raw area, no electricity no wifi no nothing, but still kept losing signal after 20-30 meters...
Even what it was hovering above me (13M) no signal... whats going on?

i am one of them... mine even 7 meters altitude only.. mind you i even sent my drone for repair and even after it came back it did not have any fix.

Thats because it is software problem, not hardware. Did you tried uptating DJI Go app to the latest version?

Simple and easily repairable problem. Follow these steps or go to this link and follow the steps listed below:
Open up your controller
Check the three antenna cables
Remove the factory sealant
Disconnect and reconnect all 3 cables
Hot glue or seal the connections back together
Close your controller

Did you check if the connections were secure and follow the steps? If you followed my steps and your drone is still not working, you should probably buy an ARGtek or DBS antenna that will give you 2 miles range
