Is there any procedure for remote control update ?

Dji wrote to me " Make sure both Aircraft and remote firmware are fully up to date. "

Of for the aircraft but for the remote ???

For firmware at or below 1.2....
place the firmware on an empty usb drive.  make sure that is the only file on the drive.  place in the usb slot on the remote.  turn on remote.  after about 60 seconds the status light should go blue and the remote will start beeping.  when it stops the status should go green.  your done.
For firmware at or above 1.3
connect your phone/device to the remote, turn both on and goto the dji app.  press the remote controller icon.  should say update required.  press on this and the dji app should download and install the firmware.  same blue light and beeping from the first step.  hope this helps

But on the P3 standard, you have no USB slot .. just the micro USB for charging .

Should I use the micro USB ??

The "standard" updates thru the GO app... the Remote Control and the aircraft both get their updates from the GO app..
