I tried to find a better alternative, but the 4WD truck battery just won't fit no matter how hard I push it in!........anybody tried KY??!

I also tried a 4WD battery with jumper leads but I found the altitude limitations too restrictive.

Yes. Why don't you Trust the DJI battery. ???   How did it lie to you?

If you're talking about the battery not discharging after the time set, you have to make sure you don't press the button on the battery otherwise the timer will reset.

I stroll don't have an idea about how to use this batteries properly.

3. When fully charged, put back into P4.
4. Go to step 1.

AFAIK, the only flight mode available without the DJI battery is free fall.

The smart battery is actually smarter than us??

It's good to know that sometimes we can have a nice laugh while discussing what causes a bird to crack or a prop pops out or even a freefall. And I'm not talking about laughing at our dearest OP. Peace.

I never trusted the smart battery either, just I like I do not trust politicians.. but as it's necessary to have, I just deal with it..  U cannot fly without a battery, just as you cannot run a country without politicians.. Unless someone figures it out, just deal with it and fly a lot while the aircraft is in warranty period - this way, if it crashes not due to pilot error, DJI will repair or replace....
As for generic trust issues..  well, a battery psychologist would be nice, especially if they will also be willing to work with the pilot....

Please land before the battery is actually discharged.. if you wait till it's actually discharged, you will land, but taking off again may be challenging....  I usually try not to fly much below 20%, if you want to deep discharge, maybe fly it to 15 or so, then finish the process on the ground with no props on....

Well I've got a problem with a battery @Ken.

I have seen it going around, I was actually looking for a thread on it and I am sure there is one but I am having a crack in my battery at the top like some of the other around here.

Now, I thought at first it was the new "Part 54" battery but the only battery I have that little crack on is my "Part 7" battery.  Granted, it has the most flights but whats up with this?

There is a crack in the center in the EXACT spot that others are reporting although mine is on a Part 7.
This image is taken from a Part 7 battery with less than 15 flights.  Maybe even less than 10.

Why do you say that?

Sorry for your crack. I'd suggest you to get in touch with our tech support via support@dji.com and send the battery for fixing.

The OP started another thread with same exact title and first post. that has been deleted.
