I'm going to leave inspire1 for more than 1 year. I have discharged batteries to 0%....but is it good for the battery? It must be between 30% to 50%?  Is it same as phantom2 vision +?   Thanks

You can charge it to 100% if you wish, it will discharge itself to a safe level. Do not, however leave it discharged to 0%. Not good!

If you like, you can send it to me and I will look after it for you.

Please ensure that you follow the long term battery storage instructions that can be found in the Inspire 1 Intelligent Battery Safety Guidelines. It is never recommended to leave a battery a 0% for extended periods of time.

Rule of thumb is Lipos should be stored at 60% charge. If you are not flying for a year why not just sell those batts and purchase a new set when you return. Lipos sitting for long periods are never good. You might also come back to what a lot of people are getting and that is a fully dead and will not power on batt because the logic board constantly has a draw on it.

We do not recommend that batteries be left unattended for an extended period of time.  It can lead to an over discharge condition and as HermosaDrones stated a dead battery.  Do you have anyone that can recharge them ever 2-3 months.

Thank you everyone for answering this.  I already left for overseas. Damn I have discharged to 0% 3 of 2 batteries while waiting for the answer on this forum...  I knew automatic discharge but wondering what should be for very long strage.  I wish give it to someone look after or should have sold it. My family will be back after 3 months and I will ask for rechage it But I really hope it is still not dead after 3 months especially 0 % batteries!!!
