Got a pop up today saying update firmware so I did but after I updated the craft it hasn't given me the option to update the control. is this normal? when I go in to the go app it says version of craft is 1.9.60 and control is 1.6.0 is this right or do they have to be exactly the same?

The latest update for P3 Advanced/Pro was only for the aircraft and batteries, no update for the controller.  If you have extra batteries, insert them while the Bin file is still on your sd card so they can update as well.

Ah ok. great. So if I open up Go app it would automatically tell me if I had anything to update? if it doesn't then everything is up to date?

Yes, the app will tell you if there is a new firmware for the controller.

Yes you are right. You can also check it in Aircraft Status in DJI GO app.
