I just purchased the X5 for the Osmo with 15mm lens, Im now wondering if using the 45mm Oly lens would make sense as well to get a 90mm equiv? Has anyone played arpund with this? Or is it even doable for walking around?

Please have a look at the specification of X5 at http://www.dji.com/product/zenmuse-x5s/info#specs and make sure that the balancing weight is under the bearable range of the Osmo.

it sas that it will work with for photography only? I've seen video done with one on an inspire, any reasons to not do this?

With Olympus M.Zuiko 45mm f1.8 lens, we don't recommend shooting a motion footage other than the photography. The Osmo's gimbal works better with recommended camera and lenses for recording.
