Nice one.  I suggest you slow it a bit though, some scenes just appears too briefly.

Be aware that NYS (or as the new name will be Restricted State", i tis not legal to fly in the areas you show.

You may want to make it private so you do not get in trouble.

I thought it was illegal as well. Does anyone know if there are areas in nyc that you can fly legally? I also heard Albany NY is of limits too.

No No No, I wasn't being sarcastic. I meant nice job on the Video and Flying within City Limits was a question. There have been posts where there was an issue and then there are posts with no issues such as yours.

Thanks for the positive feedback, guys!

Re: flying within the city,  I just spoke with the folks at the Apple Store saying they flew it around Central Park, so I went ahead and did it as soon as I bought the drone.  Does anyone know, for once and for all, the legality of flying in the city- or anywhere, for that matter?

Re: flying within the city,  I just spoke with the folk ...

I am going by previous posts. I remember an article but not where I read it that stated "No Aerial Activities Within City Limits" There was previous post where he was flying in Central Park and NYPD confiscated his Phantom. Google it and see what you come up with. Maybe it is the luck of the draw as far as NYPD goes?

The DJI No Fly Zone site indicates that you CAN fly in NYC almost everywhere.

Remember though: There is no place in NYC where there are no people walking below.
Even in Central Park, there are always a lot of people there.

If you contact the Parks dept, they will tell you no drone flying in the NYC, and if you call the State parks dept, they will tell you the same!
That is why we should all demand for a name change to: " Restricted State"  Same goes for adjacent suburbs, like Long Island: Name Change Pending to "Restricted Island".

And since the P4 just came out this year, it is not going to fly if you say you took the video a few years back, prior to the new restrictions! You are flying at your own risk then.

Nice Video!
