Hello. Just wondering if I should spend my time learning DiVinci Resolve or the new Premiere Elements 14 (or similar in cost) for editing my video?  Just purchased a P3A last week and would like to edit my video, correct my contrast, saturation, and sharpness, etc.  I'm going to primarily be shooting in 1080p/30fps.  Thank you for any advice.

Resolve is the best colour correction software it is possible to buy, and the Lite version is free. It does have editing capability, but it is in an embryonic state at this time. However it will only get better as time goes on, so considering that, it is an excellent choice. But, it is very powerful and takes some learning.

   Yes!  What he said!  There also appears to be a new 12.5 version of DaVinci Resolve out now, which I plan to download tomorrow.
