i was over a lake and Wally was about 3500 ft from me.  Decided to hit RTH and have him fly himself home.  Went to hit the RTH button and accidentally hit power off on the controller!!!   Heart stopped and thought I lost him.  Quickly powered on and a couple minutes later saw the video feed of him coming him.  Another minute and i heard him.  Dang!  That was the roughest couple minutes of my drone piloting I've ever had.

RTH worked correctly.  No controller signal and it came home.


Stupid mistake that ended with a smile!

Yes, most smart drones will do that, just be careful if you are within 20 meters, as RTH there means "land now"....

yes I have these moments too, but not that one yet.... glad to hear everything worked out
