If my drone was in RTH mode,and the batterie went critically low,going into landing mode,does it just land or does it land while trying to make it home

Yes, that is exactly what it is designed to do. The trick is not to let the battery get down to a critical level ehile you are flying.

I think he means,  it will land where it is at without trying to get home.  Because it has no choice.
