Hello, I have recemtly bought the DJI 3 Standard, and downloaded the DJI App Go. Everthing openes up perfectly and I get a picture of what i should be seeing HOWEVER I only see half the screen. The app is way to zoomed in. I updated my iPhone 4 because I though that was the problem... but nothing changed.

iPhone 4 isn't natively able to run iOS 8, which is the minimum required iOS version to run DJI Go App. How did you managed to run it on it? I guess anyhow, that's the reason why it doesn't work properly
