I had to make a transforming pad for mine.  Travel mode has a rough time with anything other than a same color, semi gloss surface.  I would suggest you make one as well.  Those plastic feet will end up getting scratched snd scared if you transform it on the ground.  I bought 3D printed skids to protect the plastic feet on mine.

Oh thats the date in which I performed the "re-test".  Its not related to anything Firmware related or DJI related...
Remore, Inspire, DJI GO app on my Ipad are the latest as of that date...

Same issue started after the last firmware update.  Image drops out and screen goes green.   4 minute video consists approximately 4 to 6 still images.   I1P also is considerably less steady even with 14+ sat locks.  Will not be flying again until I get this resolved.

Just downgraded the firmware back to 1.6 and the video cut outs have stopped....

Correct me if I'm wrong, but when you switch to auto, you lose the ability to choose bitrate.  I thought that setting was only available in manual mode.

you are correct, this adjustment in only in manual mode, not in auto. I don't think it is a sticky control that holds in both modes

I've got a feeling the issue is actually in the firmware of the aircraft and not in the go app or firmware of the RC.  The reason I say that is because I started to notice this after the whole epidemic of crashes with the last firmware.  Back then, I was still using 1.6 for RC, an IPhone 6 Plus, the latest go app at the time, and the problematic aircraft firmware.  None of my settings really changed (I'm simple... if it works, it works).  However, one key difference is that the preview was occasionally blanking out and recovering as opposed to getting stuck in a constant flicker of black and green.
