I was wondering if anyone has an idea of how to make a hand held gimbal to attach the Phantom to. The reason I ask is because I shot a Vineyard recently and instead of attempting to fly the Phantom down the outside narrow patio area, where there was many things to crash into, I held the Phantom (by the landing gear) above my head and walked through the area. The problem is once I reviewed the footage there was a lot of rocking due to my foot steps. In order to make it work in my video I had to speed up that part of the film so it wasn't so noticable.

So I thought there has to be a way to make something that could help with this (a gimbal type device) that you could quickly connect the Phantom on to and get the shots that require you to be in tight places, by walking the phantom not flying it. Just a technique to add to the filming. Any ideas?

Here is the video, I also did that technique going into the trolly in the video.  http://youtu.be/YBCUmEtcbLI

Thanks for the link. That's a start, but unless it has some flexibility to it and moves independent of the Phantom it's just a different way of holding the Phantom than the way I did. It seems like when walking you'd still get the natural bounce of the body with the foot steps.

I would add this suggestion into the wishlist. Thanks for that.
