Plz help me. My phantom 4 is only 2 months old and when i fly p4 then he lost the rc signal and return home after flying above 40ft only approx. Plz give me reason and solution.

No, this issue before firmware update. After this issue i update my RC and Drone but it still same problem. My mobile device is lenovo K3 Note(i use DJI GO app updated) and firmware version is v01.02.0503.

Try the following button combination to reset the RC:

* Turn on the controller, and the aircraft should be off.
* Press C1, C2, and shutter on the controller then turn the controller off.
* Turn on both the aircraft and the controller and link the remote.

Please let me know if this helps.

I m doing this and many type of linking then linking is successfull but no effect on the problem.

I need more help to solve this problem.

What kind of areas are you flying in? Is your unit up to date with the latest firmware?  Have you tried getting in contact with the DJI Support team for a potential repair service?

I have a replacement P4 after the first drone would not start up after 1 day. It works really well until you go more than 250 metres from the controller. I have done all the updates, reset the controller, spoke to DJI etc.

How can they advertise a range of 3 miles. I am returning the second P4 and going through the long drawn out delay tactics "company procedure".

Today flew from Ashdown Forest the highest area in sussex uk. 250 metres.
I am convinced there is minimum RF Power from the controller. Very Poor Product from my experience.

May I have your case number?
You adjust the antennas to optimal range all the time during flight and fly it in different open places, but get the same result, right?
Do you have friends have the same aircraft so that you can link your aircraft or remote to his then check the performance?

Yes of course I adjusted the antennas.I do not have any friends with P4. return ref is 77366352.

I'm having the same issue with a brand new Inspire 2.
