I'm upgrading my stock P4 microSD card with a larger capacity card.  What do I need to do besides simply install the new card?

Make sure it's fast enough, and then format it, in the drone.  Or in your computer.  ;-)
It could be up to 64gb size or smaller.

Larger capacity is not always good, but more of 32gb is what I keep :-)

Correct, just format the card and your good to go.
