Hi there,
I've been shooting footage on my Phantom 3 Advanced out in Ghana for the last week, experiencing no issues at all and getting some amazing shots. However, I took the drone out of its bag today, hooked everything up, and instead of the camera coming alive, it instead said "No image transmission signal" on the banner where it usually says "Safe to fly (GPS)".

When I click the banner, it says "Gimbal disconnected," and the gimbal doesn't lock into focus like it usually does. When I turn the drone on though, the gimbal spins around (like usual) and focuses on objects - but only until I open the Camera.

I've done the firmware update (controller) after I noticed the camera wasn't working properly, but that still didn't fix it.

Any thoughts on how I can fix this?

Many thanks,
Mathew

Here are some ideas:

Make sure your cable from your RC and mobile device is working
Make sure the wires on the camera and the drone are connected.
Does the telemetry (i.e. air craft direction) data update?
Try another mobile device.
Try syncing your flight logs then delete the App and reinstall it.

Edit:
Also try swtiching between video and camera mode to see if anything changes. I have seen this occur before with a friend's.

I think it's a loose gimbal cable if everything worked great then the next day it didn't.
