Hi everyone, I crashed my brand new phantom 3 because I was flying in the woods when the low battery rth kicked in and skyrocketed my drone into a tree.

It crashed on the ground and as I took out the battery pack , a small part came out and I have no clue for what this is good for.

Any ideas?

Hi, I think it's part of the anti-drop kit.
Since your aircraft crashed,I'd suggest you to send it in for fixing. What area are you located in?

Check the camera/gimbal mount for a missing drop-link.  You should have spares in your box.
