How can you set the camera to have the correct exposure on the RAW footage? Mine is always too dark if I set the correct exposure via histogram and live view while filming.

What are your settings for picture profiles for the SD footage? They don't apply for the RAW.

To get the range and depth of information on the raw footage the initial visual output is darker and mostly compression free allowing so much more information that can be manipulated in post processing. Having to process is a pain but the sacrifice is worth living with when you compare your shots and the detail in the cloud alone. Sorry I am a data geek. I use SD just to see if the shots are roughly where I want them to be and concentrate on post processing.
