Is the iPhone 7 Plus Compatible with DJI GO app? I assume it is, but there may be a need for an app upgrade (?). I will be switching to the iPhone 7 Plus very soon, so I need to know it will work immediately!!!

from reading another thread (can't remember which one) it seems like users are experiencing issues ...

I tried iOS 10 with DJI GO App today, two smooth flights, no issues at all with video or other. I currently have the iPhone 6. Soon my iPhone 7 Plus will be in, and I will let you know how it goes. Fingers crossed. Sure has worked well with my iPhone 6 over the past one year+.

from what i know and have been told, its more to do with ios 10 and its compatibility with the dji go app rather than the device itself.but good you had 2 flights with no issues.

Many more perfect flights with iPhone 6 and iOS 10. I'd say there are no issues, from my tests. Still wish my iPhone 7 Plus would get here.

There is really no way the type of iPhone you use can affect your motion time lapse ;-) The iPhone is only the monitor, not the actual controller.

I have tried to update the DJI Go app with iPhone 7 only to discover that the phone will not currently communicate with the aircraft. I was told by DJI tech support that iPhone 7 is incompatible with my Phantom 3. They suggested I use a different phone. Very disappointing news.
I would hope an update will be available soon.

I was also told the Iphone 7 (which I've owned for a couple of months now) is NOT compatible with the app.....  since it does NOT work with my OSMO either.  I was told "get an Android phone".. that was their suggestion.  This is a POPULAR phone that didn't come out yesterday, and their product will not work with it, it does not SAY that clearly on their website and they won't take the return.  Just 'get an Android phone" was their answer.

I hate DJI.  And to think I have spend over $10000 on their products in just a few short years - needless to say I was more than just disappointed in that ridiculous answer and remedy.  At least take back your product which I cannot use.  And NO, I'm not getting an Android phone... Seriously.
