Is there a trick to stopping the panorama function just shooting on the horizon-line?

I point the osmo up and down with the joystick and even physically point the whole thing up or down but every time I take a panorama photo, it figures where the horizon is and shoots that. No matter where I point vertically, it resets itself.

Example, I'm standing in front of a building and do the 9-photo stitch shot. If I shoot on horizon, the bottom 3 shots will be of the floor, so I'd like it to not do that

I'm using Osmo Mobile on Android.
