I updated yesterday the Go to 3.0.0 (Iphone 6 Plus-ios 10)

The bird is downgraded to 1.5.7+.

I hit the auto take off and after 10 seconds said connection timed out and after 20 seconds it took off!

The video feed and telemetry were extremely laggy,although the bird flew great and with much improved range

Today I tested with a very cheap android phone and it works great.

All these happen after the last app update.I also updated the bird to 1.6.8 and the results were the same.
My pro didn't have any issues because you connect the phone with a cable.

It's  definitely a P3s-Go App bug.

Any thoughts?Somebody with the same experience?

Do you have Hardware Decoding enabled?

It does the same thing with both enabled and disabled.

It worked perfectly before the last app update.It has lag even in the S1-S2 RC switches.

In the 60$ Android smartphone my friend has it works great in all settings and switches.

Hello sir, have you tried to delete the APP and re-install it? if convenient, please try another ISO device with the same APP to check the result, cool it down and turn off background programs.
If no improvement, please provide a video showing the laggy, thanks.

It does the same with my iPad mini and iOS 9.3.1.

And the video you asked. With manual controls it works ok,so the RC is binded correctly.When I hit the auto take-off the problem starts.
I remind you that the craft has the latest update and it worked great before Go app 3.0.0.It also works ok with a cheap android phone.
Also the switches do nothing.

I'm having the same problem. Bought a P3s last week, downloaded the app, and after pressing the button to start recording or to take a photo, it takes about a MINUTE to work.

Thats two of us and there are 4-5 people at phantompilots.com with the same issue.

Unplug the gimbal+camera and wait about 30 secs. Plug back in and power back on...

Well, I sent an e-mail to DJI earlier today, they told me to back up my iPhone, restore it and update to iOS 10 again using iTunes. After that, I reinstalled DJI Go App, updated my drone firmware and it worked just fine!

I will try both methods!

Nothing at all with both methods.I have tried all sorts or resets and restarts,and I have no results.

Its CLEARLY an app bug.

Have the same problem, fixed by myself upgrading drone to 1.6.8, not 1.5.7+

It didn't work for me.

How much space do you have left on your device? I also deleted many Apps and turned off background app refresh.

That's about firmware I think. Did u try to format sd card and then upgrade?

Took me sometime to figure the app downgrade and....da-da!!!!
2.9.2 and works like a charm!!!!

The employee who took care of my case mailed me that he couldn't fix and to sent the drone in...

I also have similar problem after updating Go app to 3.0

It takes over 10 seconds to change from picture mode to video mode
Over 10 seconds to start and stop video recording
Serious lag in Telemetry
It takes forever to change sensitivity settings, most of the time it doesn't changes these at all.

I am using iPhone 6 with IOS 10.0.2, tested and found same problems on iPhone 5s.I did not update quad on 1.6.8, so I am on previous version (whatever it was). No problems in flying quad with Go app ver 3.0

Can you please guide me how to downgrade the Go app version.
Edit: to add to the above Litchi app works perfect, no lags no problems in changing from video to picture or starting stopping video recording.

Thanks, I used the easier method and downgraded to Go app ver 2.7.1

Test flew the Phantom 3S, flew perfect no lags of any kind.

Removed auto update on IOS settings.

To add to the thread,the official answer via mail from DJi was that my drone had problem with the wifi so I had to send it in.

I can provide ticket number for further investigation if someone official cares,but I don't think so....

Has anyone updated to 3.1.1 in IOS?I'm still with 2.9.2 which works great but 3.1.1 gives some extra feautures to Osmo Mobile I have....
I dont want to have the same lag problems again.
