This happened once or twice in the past but now seems to be doing it more often...
When I get the low battery warning I press RTH on the controller, the P4 then makes it's way back. On it's way I sometimes get a 'Forward Obstacle Avoidance not working' message appearing intermittently on the DJI Go app.

I have failsafe RTH height set at 55 metres.

Am I doing something wrong, is it a case of environmental factors, or something at fault?

I was flying in sunny wide open coastal areas across water/sand, wind about 13 mph.

Also in a semi rural area overcast approaching dusk, where I noticed the same message came on at exactly the same place on two separate occasions (also was not very good GPS if that has any relevance).

I haven't managed to get a screenshot just yet.

Hey have same issue. Rc and phantom on latest fw.
Sometimes when drone lost signal drone do a rth and forward obstacles sensor tuen off
