I haven't seen any reference to this and was wondering if the Flight Simulator will work with the Mavic controller.

Well, on IOS the flight simulator is listed on the flight training page for the Mavic, can't open it of course as it just says 'Aircraft not connected'

Yup.  That's how it works on the P3 and P4.  You have to have a drone connected to use the sim.
