Use Trigger (free app) to program an NFC sticker for the bottom of your controller. Have it  your turn on your phone's WiFi, start DJI GO, have your phone connect, set your volume, and even launch other flight apps. Holding your phone to the back of the controller will do all the work, while you are connecting your phone. It's super easy, and NFC stickers are super cheap.
Sorry iPhone users, your NFC is locked down by your control freak manufacturer, Apple.

Why should I open the WiFi, when I connect it with the cable?
Imight just add a task which closes all running apps, opens the flight app, enables the phones flight mode, sets the volume.

While iOS does not (yet) let developers play with NFC, someone could write an app that could do something similar with a QRcode.  You would register a custom URI scheme and register that scheme with your app.  You would have a qrcode that embedded the SSID of your drone, and then launches your flight app.  It would not be as simple as scanning an NFC sticker, but it would be a bit quicker for iOS users.
