Good evening people. Another dumb question I can not find the answer to. My stills are coming out of the Phantom 4 as 3.1MB to 4.5MB files.
Is that about the 12 megapixal quality that is advertised? Am I able to adjust still quality?

The photos you are looking at are jpg files which use compression to reduce the file size.
Take a look at the details for your photos.
Are they 4000 x 3000 pixels?
If so you are getting 12MP as advertised.

Thanks so much. I looked at sample photo "details" in "properties" as you suggested, and now I get it.
4000 x 3000 pixels = 12MP.
I really appreciate your time & help. Also, learned a lot about what else the camera "encodes" in the "Properties", GPS, time, camera settings, etc.
