Hard case or back pack type?.
who has what?.

I bought the backpack for £30 & all the stitching came loose after a week
so I had to re-stitch the bag but I am still using it fine for my p3p

I have used a hardshell for over a year and I must say it is excellent in the way of protection for the drone. I have checked it in as baggage for travel on aircraft and when I am travelling by vehicle I don't have to worry about anything falling on top of it. There is one con though. I wish it had more storage space for the extras that you would like to carry such as props/ nd lens etc. Hope this is helpful.

I'm using polar pro backpack for a while and it's great. Even with moded rc inside and other equipment.

Depends on where you're going.

Obviously the pelican case is ideal for travel, but no good for getting to remote locations.
So I suggest having the pelican case & the hard case backpack, the best of both worlds...   

I've got a hard case suitcase, it's best in protection (I think) but it's a hassle to carry around, I'd prefer a simple back pack honestly

Bth I am thinking to buy phantom 4, so that's back pack is not suitable cause ph4 batteries two times bigger, but in this backpack there is space I can cut out. So I think I can use for phantom 4.

I like the hard case myself, although I don't go hiking or anything like that. I understand for those reasons it would be nice to throw something on your back and away you go. I leave my P3A in my hard case (not the DJI one) with the props on, everything I have is in it...remote, tablet, 4-batteries, filters, etc. All I have to do is throw in in the car or carry it outside, and in a matter of a few minutes I am up and flying. Yeah, a little bit like a small suitcase but protects everything quite well. To each his own, that's my 2-cents worth!

I use the Dji hardshell case. Work fantastic for me with all the extras in aswell.prop guards,3x batteries,3x sets of props and my ipad pro.
I ve got one for sale too.

I have the DJI hardshell case to carry my P3A. I find it fits comfortably on the back as well.

I got a hard-shell backpack case on Amazon for $67. It was designed for the P4 but fits my P3P perfectly. It's an awesome value.

Its worth the extra for the Dji hardshell.

I personally just use the box the p3 came in. Haven't travelled lots yet but am looking into a hardshell for when i  do

Hard to carry a P3 box when you go out walking and see something you want to film.
The hardshell feels fine on your back. My only thing that bugs me is setting it all up, props on, prop guards on,battery in,ipad in holder, switch it all on, do compass dance, take off and its now Dark.....{:4_181:}

I use the backpack type, but for me, it's too bulky and offers limited protection to the drone. I'm upgrading to the hard shell soon.
