Just though I'd create a thread for people who ordered their Mavics in October.
This way... we know that DJI has started shipping orders from October and we can get some kinda estimate on when ours will arrive + you dont have to look at the other threads thats filled with other people's earlier orders.

I ordered on the 3rd and still no update besides "payment confirmed".

From the info I gathered in the other threads... seems like orders from Oct 1st will start shipping on the 25th ish of NOV

My order went through on Oct 11th. I've resigned myself to maybe seeing it before Christmas. Maybe not.

Ordered Fly More on 10/03 at 1942 (EST) from Amazon DJI Official... Not expecting it to arrive before the estimated ship date.

I have a project at work that absolutely requires a drone. I sold my P3A thinking it would be a quick turnaround in picking up a Mavic, weeks go by and I find myself having to continually make up excuses to give my boss as to why I have not completed the project.  This project depends on whether or not to outfit every district in my department with drones.  Unable to produce any results without a drone, this project is off to a bad start and making me look bad in front of my employer as well.

I think you are going to have to make excuses for at least another 6 weeks....

I ordered on 29/09/16 and have been told that my Mavic "could" be sent out in the next 1 to 2 weeks.....

I ordered mine on 12/10/16 from DJI, still pending. Looking at the Amazon UK site they claim that their stock will arrive on 4/11/16. I have therefore cancelled my order with DJI and ordered from Amazon yesterday 28/10/16. My acknowledgement says delivery will be between 5th and 8th November 16. I shall see and repost when it comes.

I ordered my Mavic on the 27th October 16 on Amazon uk, my order confirmation states that it will be despatched on the 3rd of November 16 for delivery between the 5th and 8th of November.

Fingers crossed !

I ordered on the 3rd of Oct direct from DJI. Spoke to someone on live chat yesterday, they said it is estimated for shipping in mid-November and will be 3-5 days to deliver.

I ordered mine Fly more combo on Ebay from a "authorized DJI dealer" on Oct 3rd.  When i ordered it said expected ship date of 3-9 Nov.  I just emailed them yesterday for an update and got this:
"Dear buyer,
so sorry to tell you ship date will delay.we got news from DJI and they said ship date will delay due to hot sale.they also explain it on DJI website,you can check that later.
According to your order time and DJI policy,we will send it to you on 10th,December.If it is ok for you?
If not , we can cancel the order for you,how do you think？
Sincerely"

WTF!!  I'm now looking for other options.  Either DJI was way off on their expected sales or they put out a false release date to grab buyers away from GoPro when they knew the Mavic would not be ready for months. Whoever is building, boxing and shipping these things better be working 24/7 to get them out to all us unhappy customers!

Its all DJI at fault, they are promising dates to resellers then not updating them with delays until last minute. So try be considerate to resellers, as frustrating as it is, they are getting the same info as us.

Going through all the Shipping threads in DJI Forum, Here are the CURRENT SHIPPING STATUS and projections for Combo orders from DJI Store

Oct 21 - Oct 30 - Sep 27th Orders & Early and Mid Sep 28th Orders ( Happening Now) . Sep 29/30 Orders Placed from Australia and some other countries are also being shipped
Oct 31 - Nov 10 - All Sep 28th Orders & Early Sep 29th Orders ( Projection and will be updated if i see many Sep 29 orders on those days )
Nov 11 - Nov 15 - All Sep 29th Orders & Early Sep 30th Orders ( Projection and will be updated if i see many Sep 30 orders on those days )
Nov 16 - Nov 20 - All Sep 30th orders & Early Oct 1st Orders ( Projection and will be updated if i see many Oct 1 orders on those days )
Nov 21st - Nov 25th - All Oct 1st orders & Early Oct 2nd ..

The above trend should continue until October 5th where the pre orders should have been came down ( compared to initial )

I've ordered the combo on 2016-09-28 06:50:30 (UTC) at DJI, shipping to Germany, and there has been no change of my shipping status since the "update" that they are fulfilling orders as fast as they can.
From what I've seen here there are no shipping updates happening during the weekend.

So I guess your estimations are a little bit on the optimistic side ;)

I have no problem with waiting, after all it's just a very nice toy, but I would definitely appreciate a more open communication policy on the part of DJI management.
I don't know if this is maybe typically for Chinese companies, but in the days of global social media it seems strange and repulsive to me.

I really hope that DJI is not that cagey in case of warranties, repairs and general product support.

October 1st through DJI ... of course still pending!

I'm wondering whether Apple store would get these sooner by any chance?

No shipping alert from either. Not surprising.

What really gets me is DJI could have seen on the first day that there was more demand then expected. Why did they keep the mid october delivery info on the website until way into October. They should have changed this from day 1.

I ordered on 03/10 combo package, no news so I ordered with Amazon UK on 16/10 and it says dispatching 03/11 for delivery 04/11.  Cancelled the DJI direct order.

If your job required a drone, then you shouldn't have sold your P3 until you received your mavic. What kind of work do you do?

if im not mistaken that amazon package is coming from Hong Kong, it is also not confirmed for a  4th November arrival, i spoke with the seller 2 days ago regarding this, fingers crossed for you tho mate and that im looking at a different advert but is it this one by any chance? https://www.amazon.co.uk/DJI-Mav ... words=dji+mavic+pro once it arrives in hong kong its gonna be a 10 day turnaround

Ordered 10/9/16 from dji store. It's amazing that they can get away with collecting the full amount from us upon ordering, but then....that's how supply and demand works. I want it and they have my full payment so i have no leverage and will wait like everyone else. I hope it lives up to the hype!

I pre ordered with Apple UK on 01/10 & it still shows processing with an expected November delivery but no actual date, I since have also placed an order with Amazon UK for the combo(though I'd prefer just the mavic with extra batteries as I don't require the bag) as a back up on 23/10 showing as shipping from Amazon prime on 03/11 with delivery 04/11 as of today.
However none of us knows what will happen & I just wish everyone Good Luck with our orders!

ye I've ordered one with drones direct and they don't know when its going to arrive but the one from amazon they guarantee it to be with me on the 4th but i can't see that happening! we will see fingers crossed!!!!

Can you not rent one. I see people that rent their P3's and P4's in Atlanta all the time.

I ordered my Drone Combo with the fly more stuff on 10/05/2016 and I just received it at my door about an hour ago! WHAT WHAT!!!

Would you mind posting some pics of all of the extra fly more stuff? such as the shoulderbag, battery charging hub and the power bank to battery adaptor. You'd be the first on these forums to post pics of them. Would be appreciated.

I ordered on the 30th September still nothing and the online support won't even give me a clue when its arriving either
