Has anyone come up with a method for balancing the props on a Mavic? All the videos I've seen on this topic use spin on props that are hub-centric. With the Mavic having the bayonet mount it doesn't seem this would be compatible without creating a special rig. Thoughts?

Probably 99% won't bother I don't have Mavic yet so don't know can vibration be improved, but I'm not likely, I know there are some guys over on P4 forum who have dappled with balancing props, so my advice would be pop over there an post a thread you should get some good advice, I don't think you will get a response like . No need.
Good luck and enjoy your Mavic..

Looks like there are two commonly used method's.
One is too lock each blade in it's extended position, but i don't think that is possible on the Mavic propellers. They use pins instead of screws. (As far as i know.)
The other way is to disassemble the propeller and weigh each blade on a precision scale.
I always balanced my propellers on my current quadcopter. It really helps to cut down on vibrations.

Don't bother to try to balance them.  It is a waste of time.

Never found balancing a waste of time even with top of the line props. Sure they're flyable but they're far from perfect.

I agree Ed, although I cannot speak to the Mavic props until I get them.  Historically, any original DJI branded (non-fake) props have always been well within tolerance and rock solid.

Stick them on a balancer then see how perfect they are.

But that's my question: how do you mount a bi-pin, bayonet type mount on a balancer?

I'd go with the DJI rep and not waste time While you think you are balancing them, its only statically balanced. Who knows how you are changing the aerodyamics.

Personally, since the P3 I've had no reason to balance props.
I'm sure soon someone will come up with a balancer but I really don't think it's necessary.

another question: how to measure the vibration? to check if it's ok or something is wrong. one way is to look at the video if there is any wobbling. any other ways, sort of cheap sensor or somehow get out off flight controller?
