Just installed the DJI Vision 1.0.48 upgraded app for ios.
Out for testing as soon as the sun is rising.
I am promising myself to be careful - you never know................

I have tested it on the ground with Firmware 3.10. P2V+ V3

Good Points.

It no Longer crashes the app with Gimbal lock in place.
It now Shows Battery Life in Minutes.
Does not drop WiFi when the phantom connection is broken.

I can't find a fault with it yet. Good Job DJI

I may fall back to 3.08 Firmware and unground my bird.

Update

Been flying for 40 min multiple trips - no problems whatsoever.
Stable and fine - but I will stick to 3.08 until further news

Bravo Nils.  I checked app store on my computer but the vision app wasn't showing as needing an update - bummed me out cause I wanted to fly tomorrow..after your post, checked updates on my phone and THERE IT WAS!  I guess I can charge my battery now for tomorrow morning!

Hi Nils, you are right. It was stable even in strong winds and there were no app crashes.

Were you flying in Phantom or Naza-M Mode? I'd like to know if the app gave you any readings on the upper right part of the screen where it only shows N/A on mine (I'm using Naza-M).

Have also been out flying this morning with no issues.

Ok. Thank you for the confirmation.

It's sad that they created a nice feature so we don't have to stand on our heads to check the status of the LED's but FAILED in that they didn't activate it for Naza M mode!!!  Especially from what I've seen, that's the way most of us fly!

If it works for you now you probably are best to stay as you are. Wait for new updates as there is nothing new as I can see in 1.3.0g

I flew today (same configuration as yours) and no issues. One nice feature of the new Vision App appears to be that if you power-cycle or bring Phantom home for battery swap, the Vision app will wait for Phantom to come back online, and reconnect to Phantom WiFi.

went through three batteries today....   had an app issue w 1.3 and 1.048...  

so reverted back to 1.043 and 1.25 and had a great time!

I've been having issues with Firmware 3.10.

The morning after updating it, flew the P2V+ V3.0 until depleting one batt. I took it down and then replaced the batt for a charged one and it was just after finishing the start sequence that the "MC: Invaild Battery" legend came up in the VISION App. Replaced it for another charged one and same story. GPS starts, the camera works, gimbal levels, gets 13 satellites but there's no engine start.

Checked out YouTube and forums and some said it had to be something with the small spring connectors at the battery bay. That wasn't my case.

When I connected the phantom to my Mac, the Assistant Software alert said that my battery wasn't valid. Downgraded the Firmware from 3.10 to 3.8 as adviced by DJI and upgraded the Assistant Software by downloading the 3.8 version straight from DJI's website. Also read that someone had issues with the iOS VISION App 1.0.46 and waited for DJI to release the latest version - as they said through a pop up in the App - which they did just a few hours ago.

Already updated the iOS VISION App App to 1.0.48 and I am still getting the "MC: Invalid Battery" message.

Any ideas?

I have a recovered 1.0.43 on my iTunes / Mac that I do not click upgrade...  Make sure your auto upgrade on you phone is off is what I learned.  This allows me by device to pull the 1.048 load down to the iPhone/iPad... and to reload 1.043, delete the 1.048 from device and resync to iTune which will push 1.043.

I also have the camera firmware saved from another users dropbox so I can flash with 1.25 or 1.3.   

so, I tried 1.048/ 1.3,  didnt like it and the "connection lost" and app crash...  so with Mac in hand I reflashed in the field....

I have the iOS Vision app 1.0.48 and downgraded (as recommended) the Phantom Vision+ v3 firmware to v3.08.  I flew almost 2 hours this weekend, using 5 batteries.  It flew perfectly, no issues.
