I got my mavic on OCT, 25. There are rumors say that DJI only shipped 100 mavic to US that week. if that is ture, I got the luck. But, when will this extra battery ship???
flying with only one battery is no fun.

I have 10 batteries on an order ( I made a separate one ) and still no movement on that ( ordered 27th ). Luckely I ordered 2 Mavics so have 2 batteries

One spare Mavic incase of issues and batteries, well, cannot get enough batteries . Worth noting, for commercial work not hobby

I respect you its a hobby, but you habe the talent to make it work. I tip my hat to you.

I bought 1 Mavic and will test it out before purchasing another as my backup. I can see why you need 10 Batteries. I probably will go down that route as well once I have done my tests.

I placed the same order as yours, Mavic alone + 1 battery. ordered on 19th Oct. Customer service said gonna be one shipment only. Will see...... if not, 2nd shipping is free, right? (just a battery)

Was informed battery's not accompanying mavic and on own wernt allowed to be sent by air.....has to be shipped by sea hence long wait time for them...anyone else confirm this?

Your battery will come in time, it's happened this way before.

Not true, batteries usually come at a later date as the first ones are shipped with the aircraft and accessories will ship later. There's already been Fly More combos delivered and it includes 3 batteries.

I ordered the same way. Figured my additional battery wouldn't ship with the initial package. I need my two extra batteries and props just in case. After having one flight on day one with the yaw getting stuck. One prop was damaged. Have had no issues since. I'm addicted to flying the thing. DJI I need my fix. Lol

Oh by the way. I'm not complaining. Just having to much fun flying. Need to be able to stay in the air longer.

I will order more batteries when they come readily available. I will get one a month for a few months.

And be happy these batteries are almost 1/2 the price of the Phantom batteries

I'd pay 200 right now for a battery from someone.

Dji must have squeezed everything out of these batteries for a 3s battery that can power a quad for 20 minutes plus is fantastic. I only get 5 minutes if I'm lucky out of my racing quad.

DJI stated from the beginning that the accessories would come several weeks after the drone...

I am happy that the batteries cost less than a P4 battery, but it is also a lot less battery. It is also 5x more expensive than a commodity LiPo of the same size. It *does* have a few bucks worth of extra electronics in it. Still, that's a heck of a markup. It's like the shaving cartridge business model, except the shaver handle is expensive too.

Yes, the Mavic batteries are pretty incredible, including the price compared to the Phantom batteries.

They are a lot smaller... that is why they are cheaper...
