Just got informed by Rise Above yesterday that shipment of Mavic to the AU region will be further delayed with no ETA. The Mavic Pro actually costs US$1300 in AU but sadly not a priority.

And yet EE Hobbies in Melbourne got a small batch of combos in and have shipped them, i'm not one of them but i know a reseller that uses them and they had some go out end of last week. Really Rise Above claim to be a big DJI seller but really if other resellers are getting some stock and they have none what does that tell you. Also there website is shocking and the only updates you get are sporadic and are as informative as DJI's emails. I ordered a OSMO Mobile from them, waited 2 weeks, they tell me it's coming next week, then send me a email next week saying i'm not in the first shipment?????

Buy off others, Camzilla, Intergral Promotions etc...I stay away from Rise Above.

3rd October, apparently i'm the next cab off the rank, so any more arrive i get mine. Problem was that the ones shipped on Friday were combo packs and only a couple were sent. So stock is arriving, Rise Above would have some and possibly shipping them out but will only notify the lucky person receiving.

BTW i ordered off Intergral Promotions in Adelaide.

I got an email from Rise above on Saturday . They got only one unit for demo purpose only.....

So much for premium dealer if others are shipping even a few and they get a demo unit. Sounds more like a proper unit but kept asside for them to play.

That right. Mavic pro combo fly more. Just for customers to see it in flesh. We have to keep waiting. But since when Australia is first serve anyway?

Well... I'll most likely get mine next year... haha I ordered mine 27th October from Aus-Camera... Although the pre-order note said dispatch between 7th and 11th November... I doubt that will happen given that you are only getting yours now and you ordered weeks before me.

In the mean time purchased some cheap quads to practice on, as I've never flown any... got an Eachine E010 this morning... flew around the office...

*sigh.. ordered from Rise Above with mine and with such comments about them, I'm now shaking my head already. I went with them as they do project this image that they're a big DJI retailer and with just receiving ONE unit so far, I say I doesn't look to bright. if i don't get my magic by 1st week of January,  I may end up buying a P3 just to take with me for my holiday really.

JBHIFI have said their shipment is delayed indefinitely

Ordered my Mavic Pro Fly More Combo from Stallard's Camera House in Hobart on 14th October. I picked it up today. It was the only one they received as their reseller only received six in country. Have just finished charging batteries & updating the firmware...
