I'm losing connection to my remote control not even 1 mile away. This can't be normal. Can anyone take a look at my health drone logs and tell me why? I have ALL The latest firmware upgraded, re-calibrate compass after every flight, always take off with GPS home signal locked, IMU calibration done, and VPS calibration done. I got this new drone 2 days ago.

I lost connection at 3,977 feet, and it began RTH.

Yes, it could be completely normal.
You're flying over an urban area which will be loaded with interference.
Added to that, at your max distance your altitude was only 17 metres at first which is also going to be a factor.
Look at the Signal Map and see how the signal was fine coming home at a higher altitude.
If you want long distance performance, you have to fly in an interference-free area.

Thanks  for the reply. So if I go higher in altitude, should that fix the range? Actually lost signal at 97.8 feet which is around roughly 30 meters. Should I go higher like 50 meters or so? Will that help me out? Thanks.

Don't expect to fly far where there's a lot of interference.

I had mine about 350 feet in the air and was only able to go about 2500 feet

Also please adjust the antenna orientation when necessary.
