Quick Question

I'm trying to figure out why the Forward Vision System icon is on the top tool bar of the app is red.  i can't figure out why.

Is there any error message show up in the app?
Please try to do the VPS calibration via DJI Assistant.

It usually means it is turned off.

Do you have it in sport mode?

Hi, could you please enter the visual navigation settings to check if you had enabled both visual sensing system and vision positioning?

One guy had this and he left one of the transparent stickers on the VPS.
Hopefully thats just it, good luck !

they are both on.

Not enough light for the sensors (most likely the ones on the bottom) to work.  Take off and hover, if there's enough light, the VPS will kick in, it will go into OPTI mode and that symbol will turn white.

got it...my room isn't that bright.  i'll check it out side to see if tit chngess.

I just got mine a few hours ago and have to same issue, but it's night and dark outside, hopefully it'll work tommorrow morning

Needs 100lux to function.

Flew it this morning during the day and Forward Vision System was working properly!

This place is just amazing. Having had mine back from repair, I had the same issue too. I did a quick search which lead me to this thread, and "boom" Problem solved.
Too dark and sensors weren't getting enough light.

That is great to know the community helps, this is why it exists.
Please let us know if there are other problems.

Have the same issue 1. Calibration done 2. All is on 3.  transparent stickers on the VPS - removed 4. There is enough light as well in the room or ouside. Tried already
