I was just wondering why my file count on my new Phantom started at 332? I owned the P2V and P2V+ and the pic/video files all started at 01?? Any ideas?

Did you by chance format it in or put it in one of the other units, even just briefly?  Otherwise that is odd.   I do know that when I deleted the files and re-formatted my card due to so many files on it, it still kept the file numbering in sequence, which was a pleasant surprise.

Sure didn’t. It was straight out of the box. Charged everything up, calibrated the compass and took 2 pics and 2 videos. The first pic was coded DJI00332.

Where did buy it? Maybe it was a refurbished unit.

Mine is 10 days old....   today after 10-15 video's and pics its still under 90.  Over the last week I've probably snapped, recorded 40-50 vids/ pics (screwing with camera and iOS loads) so my guess is my starting points was in 30's...   and while formatting the SD card - it still counts forward.   
Try changing the SD card?  that wi tell you if the count is in persistant memeory of camera or an with SD disc

Mine started at DJI00001

My V3 is only a couple weeks old also and mine started with DJI01556. ???

Wow that is strange that count is so high mine was 001 also.

My P2V+ first movie is named "DJI01242.MP4"
They rest are numbered sequentially after that.

I just opened a brand new sd card from the package, put it in the camera and took 2 pics and made 2 videos.  The camera has had many pics on it before, but with the new SD card, it labeled them 1 through 4.
