I know it may sound weird, but what about using the light and compact DJI Mavic Pro as handheld gimbal?
No doubt that using the Osmo will work better, but that would mean spending another €350+ (for the mobile version). Has anyone tried that? I know people using the P4 as handheld gimbals, so using the Mavic will be even less problematic, since the gimbal works also with folded arms.
The only problem I see in it, is that it will be much more difficult to film while using the DJI Go app functions. Maybe attaching the phone to the Mavic will solve even that problem.
As I already said, I know it's not the optimal setup, but to avoid spending another €350+ and have different image quality between the two cameras (drone & handheld gimbal), using one and the same camera for every shot is for sure a good solution.
