I got an email from DJI asking if I want to beta test the next Inspire firmware.  They said it might help with my gimbal roll issues.  Anyone have experience with testing?  Or should I stay on the sideline and let all be perfected first?

Only way we are going to get to a perfected firmware is for beta testers to test it out. As long as the ability to roll back is there and DJI will stand behind any damage should it go haywire I say have at it.

We're all still beta testing the inspire at the moment lol

I just emailed them back asking the same question if things do go wrong.

I would agree to beta test anytime, as long as you can roll back when a non test flight is desired.
The risk/resolution of related damage while testing would need to be agreed to up front. I am assuming this is actually beta testing and not alpha testing. Initial alpha testing needs to be done in a controlled environment.
