Now that we are seeing orders being shipped well into October I'm hoping that DJI didn't take as many orders throughout October as they did in late September and that they will clear October orders sooner, which i think is likely to be the case,Here's to wishful thinking :-)

I wouldn't get too excited, my order is still stuck and no info on when it is going to ship. DJI CS - doesn't exist for this nightmare!

Hahahaha thats funny were pretty much in the same boat. I ordered just the Mavic pro on October 23rd and then ordered the P4P on November 16th. I can almost guarantee we will have the P4P before the mavic

Order placed on 10/26 to Luxembourg - still nothing not even a status change - still pending...

I ordered from DJI drone only October 5th no shipping update yet I have only seen orders from DJI that shipped 3rd and 4th so far I'll update when my Mavic ships

October 6. Fly more. No word yet. I think the theory of lower volume or orders in October should hold true. If you look at the charts at dronehome, you see a significant decline in volume. YES, I realize that's only a sampling of total orders, but it should still provide some insight into the ordering trends and relative volumes.

Your order is a just about a month after the preorder started. You may still have some weeks left but I hope it arrives sooner.
On a side note, my parents used to live in Nospelt for 10yrs, beautiful country

@DJI Ken - let's hope it comes sooner ;) and as you said it's a beautiful country and that's precisely why i am really really looking forward to get the mavic

I dont know if anyone else is with me on my thoughts... but here goes...

This will be my first drone... can't wait.   I have no problem waiting for the drone, even if it is a crazy long time.   What I personally find frustrating is the lack of info and updates from DJI.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but SURELY the following simple analogy works:

1)  DJI MUST know how many orders they have for the mavic.... (whether that includes all the order from retailers etc or not)
2) DJI MUST know how many drones they are churning out each day.....

3)   If DJI know how many orders they have, and are fulfilling them in the order that they are received (like they promised), then they must know where we all are in the 'queue' ... i.e. number 4500 in the queue.

4) If I am 4500th in the queue... and they are churning out 100 drones a day...  logic tells me... ill have to wait about 45 days....   

WHY CANT DJI DO THIS SIMPLE MATHS, THEY MUST HAVE THE DATA AVAILABLE.... SURELY!!!

Ill just keep waiting. Getting angry and upset doesn't speed things up, but it is frustrating to hear how DJI has 'NO IDEA' when the drones might ship. Such is life

I ordered from Inovative UAS on October 15th and have not heard anything. They sid if i ordered directly from them bypassing Amazon we would take priority...
What a joke. I have about two weeks before i leave on Christmas vacation to Colombia so im hunting for another bird locally hoping to take it with me...

Maybe because it would be such bad news that there would be an avalanche of cancelariatos. They would rather have your money in their bank account earning them interest than have it in your bank account earning you interest.

Your logic is almost sound except relative to constant production rates. This early in new production runs there are all sorts of problems that come up unexpectedly (like the one right in the beginning of this run causing the initial delay).  If DJI predicted delivery dates based on a constant production rate, and then fell prey to a production glitch, we'd likely react as though they lied to us. They don't benefit from being forthcoming and we don't benefit because the delivery date wasn't accurate. In other words, nobody benefitted.

Don't get me wrong, I would love to have some better insight as to when I might expect my delivery, but I'm not surprised that they aren't able to provide it.  I went through this with the Inspire 1 and the postings and suspicions are all about the same.  We'll get them when we get them. And we'll love it when we do.

I ordered the Fly More Combo on the 9th November so I've been waiting close to 3 weeks now. Not as long as most other folks on here, but it's still a long time. I don't mind waiting though, as I set my attention to something else to pass the time until something does change on the order status page. I will admit that once it does state that it has been finally shipped out, I will no doubt feel a sudden charge of excitement quickly rush through my body. There's really nothing out there quite like this small drone. Just glad to be able to have money available to even purchase one in the first place. What a time to be alive.

Sorry Vinnyb but I think there is more waiting to be done. my order was 2nd October. I must check my emails and my order history ten times a day. it is wearing thin now.

ordered a mavic in late October, and I just received my P4P shipping notification today. Looks like the Phantom will be here first for me.

Although a few mid-late october orders have shipped (assuming people are honestly posting and not creating a distraction or just getting people upset whose hasn't, you'll note that many Mavic's that were ordered in September still have yet to ship.
If your region has unfavourable currency exchanges right now like the UK, you can expect to be at the end of the shipping commitment. It is still unclear what the exact reason for the shipping delays are but it is likely a production issue with the screw that jolted out of one of the arms scratching the body over a short time, the trademark issue with Mavic the bike company, or the ongoing fly away issues... simply making enough units to meet demand isn't one of the reasons why as hyped reviews were already out before preorders closed (giving a clear idea on projected sales) and they already rushed it to market when GoPro surprised them.
Between the backlog of preorders still to ship, the empty shelves of distributors, endless hobby sites trying to sell them, and Apple's strength in getting orders first, I'd say you will be seeing it possible late December... but obviously we all here hope you see it next week.

Nov 9th... yikes, there are still September orders to be shipped. Mid January is when I expect you will see it but we all hope you get your hands on it sooner.

Ordered mine on the 1st of October, Won't see mine until this afternoon sometime when DHL delivers. Guessing you are going to see it in 10-14 days, at least one week more.
Since you are in the UK and your currency is down, they may hold off longer as they lose money right now if they send you a unit over someone Stateside.
