In android GO 3.1 and the new 4.0 the map remains stationary[size=14.6667px], in previous apps the map followed your bird, now I fly off the map, the flight route is drawn and direction the craft is pointing is there and show flight route in the app is selected, now I need 3 hands to fly! 2 for the RC and 1 to pan the map. Further more I will never find a jacket with 3 sleeves. Also with 4.0 my flight records show the total feet and number of flights but no actual flights before 3.1

Yes, I have it too as well as many others, check this thread out, http://forum.dji.com/thread-72328-1-3.html. The solution for now is to downgrade the dji go app to 3.0. I did that and the red arrow stays centered now.

I contacted dji and they say to buy an apple ipad instead of android tablet ....

I use an iphone 6 and have the same problem.  Is there a setting to make the arrow stay centered on the map?  Mine keeps flying to the edge of the map then I have to drag the map.  

On the P4P+, I've got a bullseye button that then lets me select to track the drone or my home point.  SOLVED

I sure hope so. After downgrading to dji go app 3.0 I also had to turn off automatic updates. So please fix it.

Is the bug with the aircraft pointer being fixed?  I haven't seen it reported...

When the map is first displayed, north is at the top.  If you rotate the map so that west is at the top then the map rotates, the aircraft track rotates, but the pointer that shows the direction the aircraft is pointing doesn't rotate so it looks like the aircraft is flying sideways when it is really flying forward.  Makes it a bit hard to fly the aircraft back home using the map if the map shows it facing a different direction to what it actually is!

This is on the map on the live view and when reviewing the logs.

Any progress on this map situation?????

Is the 3.0.2 the newest version where map centering works?

I think it's the 3.1 app that causes the problem. I downgraded to 3.0 (not sure if it was 3.0.1) and the problem is solved, for now. Untill the people at dji will be so kind to fix this fucking annoying problem.

I'm running 3.0.2 without this issue.

I considered rolling back but I like the new GO 4 and since I first got my P4 in April this is the first glitch that is taking time to resolve. I'm sure DJI is working on a solution and other improvements, I would like getting this resolved as soon as possible and get the other improvements later. I live in the north and a cold tablet does not pan very well, my flying time is very limited because the temperature will be just too cold in the very near future. My P4 is a awesome bird and I love to fly but soon I will have to just admire it in it's case because the -30c to -40c is just around the bend.
