I just noticed my antennas are mounted not the same way...will that be an issue for signal strength

They are designed this way so that they can fold on top of one another. It doesn't impact signal strength.

Was the Rc not folded when you opened your Mavic box, they fold into each other and actually lock.

Just as dotfiles said, you don't need to worry about it.
And you could refer to the image to adjust your antenna while flying.

Definite an issue, sell the whole Mavic immediately! BTW, do you accept PayPal?? Just kidding.
