So, today i upgraded my P3S to the latest firmware. I was reading online i should never EVER upgrade my firmware unless i encounter a problem. Is that true? Because i always thought staying up to date was benificial to use all of the new features and get all of the fixes.

my theory is, if not broken don,t fix it.  but in your case to late.

In my opinion you should never upgrade your firmware unless there is something wrong with your drone, i agree with fansa32f0b7b so if its not broken don't fix it! I have heard that upgrading firmware could mess your drone up really badly so good luck

Too late to be asking the question since you did upgrade. Good luck hope it all works for you. I've had mine about 6 months and still have the firmware it came with. 1.2.40+ Everything works as it should, all modes, etc. Like he said: If it ain't broke don't fix it.
