Here is the about page in the DJI go app. I dont see the RC version. I'm worried its completely out of date because i just updated my drone today.

When you want to check your current firmware versions, I believe that you need to have the Go app, RC, And your drone turned on.

Is that About page you're showing, reading all three? Or just your device.

I had all three on and i still cant find my rc anywhere in the app...

Oh, I'm not sure why it isn't showing that part of the info?
The app will tell you if a newer firmware version is available.
Then once you do the update, the message will not be seen.
Are you getting any update messages?

You could check the release note, all-in-one firmware version is V1.7.9. Here is the link: http://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/p ... rd+Release+Note.pdf
May I know have you tried to delete the APP and re-install the APP, then check again if it's still V1.7.90+?

I don't have a firmware version for my R/C on that page of the app for my P3S, I think this is normal for the P3S as the firmware update is downloaded from the dgigo app , you have the latest firmware showing for the P3S so your R/C will be upto date

No, perhaps the Standard has a slightly different system, so it may not show in there for you.
If you aren't getting a prompt to update, or that a new version is available, you are probably good.

Admittedly, I am not very well versed in Phantom Standard protocol. ;-)
