Hello oh wise oracles,So I found this area in DJI GO4 in the map for this area in Colombia that I will be traveling to in a couple of weeks.
This area is remote and cell signal is weak if non-existent.
So this map of the area I am looking at is this what i can use to fly?
Also, how do I cache this map to use when I am there?
I have Lichi also at my disposal. Same procedure to cache maps in it?
I would appreciate any help with this...
I swear i feel like a Neanderthal when it comes to this craft....

When we had google maps on the phantom you could view the area in google maps app, say "OK Maps" and it offered to download the area for off line use - but it only stored them for 30 days.
The DJI app seemed to be able to access the offline stored map in the field without data.
This gradually got less reliable to the  point it was best to view the area in the DJI Go app and just leave it in standby without even closing the app.
This is the only way likely to succeed with the new Here maps.
In short the mapping is not going to be available most likely.

It's the same problem here in that there is practically no mobile signal let alone usable 3G so you need to download on wifi beforehand most of the time or do without maps.

Hi Alex, you can cached the map through wifi in advance. Just zoom in and zoom out the place you want to fly in the map.

But how you do that, can you be more specific?
