In low light situations the Mavic really does an awful job when processing DNG to JPG...
Here is a 200% crop of a sample image.

I removed GPS data :-) But you can see my mud is getting even more muddy.
No biggie as we HAVE the DNG, but easy to fix by DJI.
This was testing something complete different anyways but its visible also (although less harsh) in images taken under "good" light.
SO PLEASE give us a parameter for Denoising at all. (maybe 4 instead of 3).
So instead of -2,0,0 i would be using -2,0,0,-1000

P.S. DNG opened in PS CC 2015 all default (so a little sharpening and a little denoising) except i set a black point to have similar look)

So we should definitely shoot DNG photos and post-process them by our own to JPGs?

BEST option would be for DJI to make Denoising optional.
There is not much wrong with the JPG except the harsh Denoising if you set STyle to -2,0,-1 IMO.

But for now you can always use DNG + JPG so you have the best of both worlds.

You try the JPG and if its too bad you can use the DNG.

P.S. we'd need a Lightroom / Photoshop Lens Profile though, i guess several peopla are in the progress of creating one.
Vignetting & Distortion is very low for the Mavic (lower then Phantoms, let alone GoPros) but it would be nice to get rid of it.
I am yet unsire (just got it for 3 days) if there is also a color change towards the middle but there have been reports. The JPG's have this adressed in the internal preprocessing.

Hi !
Denoising did not get better in latest Firmwares. I had extreme bad light today (dark clouds, close to sunset) But the difference between JPG and DNG is totally unwarranted.
Even worse, under these extreme conditions i was bale to spot the same denoising "Destructions" in the Video files as well.
DJI, please giv eus control over the Denoising strength or Parameters !!!!!!!!!!
