Im considering flying over Gran Canaria , i was wondering if anyone had any bad experience flying there and getting any troubles ?

I just can tell you that drones are banned in all spain, so I think it's not a goo idea. I'm traveling to Spain in Jan y wanted to take mine, but since I read about it, I'm thinking it twice.

I only prohibited in Spain if you use a professional level , but particularly com if you can out of the nuclei urbans.yo have a phantom 2 v.2 and I am Spanish .             

Frankk6756 you are not right. Of course professional use is forbiden unless you inform AESA what you are going to do where also including your certificación as an operator  & cetified pilot , but if not professional  use you can only fly at rc fields, no other chance. just take a look at the new law which was published by last July, 4th, 2014
